1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the WordCrush AI application ("App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (End User License Agreement). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Account-Free Service & Local Storage
WordCrush AI operates entirely without user accounts or registrations.
- You do not need to sign in to access any feature of the App.
- All study decks, cards, and learning history are stored locally on your device.
- Important: If you delete the App, clear its local storage, or lose your device, all of your generated flashcards and learning data will be permanently lost. We do not keep backups on our servers.
3. Use License & AI Flashcard Generation
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial educational purposes. When generating flashcards:
- You agree to use your device's camera to capture photos for educational purposes only.
- You must not capture or upload images containing illegal, highly sensitive, offensive, or copyright-infringing content.
- Photos are sent statelessly to our AI servers solely for immediate vocabulary processing and are not stored.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App and AI flashcard generation services are provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the AI-generated translation cards or definitions.
5. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall WordCrush AI or its developers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, loss of local learning data or device issues) arising out of the use or inability to use the App.
6. Governing Law
Any claims relating to WordCrush AI shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App owner resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
